A multi-criteria model for assessing the use of energy storage in the activities of a distribution system operator

The current state of technology development enables the provision, of various system services by distribution system operators via energy storage. The quality of services offered by the energy storage is unavailable for the classical methods used so far. According to the adopted policy of the European Union (EU) soon can be expected to, among others, dynamic development of the e-mobility sector and renewable energy sources, which will be directly related to the appearance of new types of loads on the electricity market. Revolutionary changes related to the development of e-mobility technologies require the development of new system services offered by Distribution System Operators (DSOs). The article aims to present the growing model of evaluation of energy storage facilities constructed based on various technologies in the operation of DSOs.
