Purpose: The assessment of the linear trend coefficient plays a key role because it indicates how much the studied phenomenon has changed on average over a unit of time, i.e., five years in this study. On the basis of this coefficient, an analysis of the dynamics of individual parameters determining the degree of air pollution in the examined countries was conducted. Approach/Methodology/Design: For the purpose of the analysis of the dynamics of the effects of sustainable development measures in the area of air quality for selected countries of Central and Eastern Europe, the assessment was made using a linear trend model. The analysis of the dynamics of downward trend of individual indicators was carried out on the basis of the values of parameters b and the graphs of the linear trend models. Findings: The analysis showed that given the level of air pollution by greenhouse gases, it is clear that the worst situation is in the Czech Republic, as shown by the highest chart of the linear trend model with a time series. The smallest air pollution from greenhouse gases is in Hungary. PM 2.5 pollution is highest in Poland and lowest in Slovakia. The same situation occurs in the case of PM 10 dust pollution. Practical Implications: Identify the places where there is the highest level of air pollution in order to propose studies to reduce it. Originality/Value: Originality indicates the use of non-implemented analysis results to precisely identify the most polluting countries and the least polluting ones.
